Two New Works

For My Mother

Ray’s Mother introduced him to the Jackson 5 in early 1970’s. She worked for Motown execs who had moved to Los Angeles, and in their gratitude they gave her lots of albums. Ray wanted to honor his mother who passed away a year ago this month.

Greg Dahl received his training at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He has worked in more than 100 advertising agencies and design studios, most of which involve his expertise in producing art and mechanicals print. Greg also produces the monthly club calendar for the Jazz Bakery, where he worked behind the scenes with world class jazz artists to prepare for their shows, assists in stage set-up and tear down and walks Alfy, the club's dachshund. As a result of his work in the music presentation and advertising industry he has participated in the planning and execution of numerous marketing and promotion campaigns.
