Let the Blogging begin

I’ve been knowing Ray for about about 8 years since he came into the Jazz Bakery one Saturday afternoon carrying his seminal work “Jazz Phenomenon”. I’d been helping out at the JB for about 2 years at the time, building the artwork for the club calendar and hanging out for shows.”My name is Ray Mc Cray and I’m a artist.” Ray was invited to do a retrospective of his work, where he hung 14 pieces. “Jazz Phenomenon” hung in the JB for the next 5 years while many other artist work showed around it.

I am starting this blog in the hopes that Ray can attract lots of “Guest Bloggers” to view and write about his painting.

What type of paint did you use to paint the tires? I am looking to paint a tire for an art project, however I worry that acrylic will peel off easily.
